Dahlias and their nestled spiraling petals may be the first flowers that come to mind when you think of how mathematics shows up in nature. There was no Fibbonacci sequence involved in this design, but I did a reasonable amount of work while using a camera obscura to watch the solar eclipse in April 2024!
