LA Wildfire Support

My heart goes out to everyone who has had their lives turned upside down by the fires which are devastating Southern California. There are many friends of the Bottom Drawer among the thousands of independent artists and musicians who call Los Angeles home.

Starting January 1, I am donating 50% of the gross sales of Jeremy’s Socks to MusiCares, an independent 501(c)(3) charity founded by the Recording Academy (the Grammy people) which provides a safety net to those who work in the music industry.

The Bottom Drawer Sessions

It’s only appropriate to start this off the same way it started ten years ago…

The clue lies in the title. The Bottom Drawer Sessions.

Jeremy Clyde, half of British Invasion duo Chad & Jeremy, had a bottom drawer filled-to-overflowing with songs. Come mid-2014 at a Denny’s somewhere, he and I started creating the visual component of a seven album series.

I hit the drawing board, and went back to it once or twice. Charmingly rough, like a well-used dresser tends to be.

About the Socks

100% Peruvian Highland wool

I’ve sourced the yarn from a company which prioritizes ethical manufacturing, supports animal welfare, land management and social welfare practices. Still, these are technically not vegan.

I adapted a delightful knitting pattern from Summer Lee Design Co. I am so thankful to Summer for her sock obsession, and her unabashed love of color and texture!
